Located in the province of Katanga (DR Congo), Mbeko Shamba initiated its activities in 1982 as a maize seed company.
As an attempt to diversify, the company gradually extended its activity to grain, vegetables and fruit production, partly destined to the mining business, although its main activity is the production and commercialization of maize flour.
Starting as family business, the company experiences a constant grow.
Currently, Mbeko Shamba employs more than 150 people permanently, from which 50 live with their families in the company’s camp.
